This Privacy Policy explains how VYX Group LLC, operating the SERA MARE brand ("SERA MARE," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and shares personal information when you visit seramare.shop (the "Site"), make a purchase, or otherwise interact with us. It also explains the privacy rights you may have and how to exercise them.
Please read this Policy carefully. By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
We collect personal information in three ways: directly from you, automatically when you use the Site, and from third parties.
When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect device and usage information such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, referring URLs, the pages and products you view, the links you click, how long you stay, and the approximate location derived from your IP address. We collect this through cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies (see Section 4).
We may receive information from Shopify, our e-commerce platform; from payment providers such as Shopify Payments and PayPal for fraud prevention and payment confirmation; from shipping carriers for delivery status; and from advertising and analytics partners about your interactions with our ads.
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share personal information with the following categories of recipients:

If you subscribe to our emails or accept a discount offer, we will send you marketing emails about SERA MARE products, offers, and skincare content. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link at the bottom of any marketing email or by emailing support@seramare.shop. We will continue to send you transactional emails about your orders even if you unsubscribe from marketing.
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights under U.S. state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and similar laws in states such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon, and others:
To opt out of targeted advertising, visit Your Privacy Choices and follow the instructions there. We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as an opt-out request for the browser and device you are using.
To exercise any other right, email us at support@seramare.shop with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will need to verify your identity, typically by confirming the email address associated with your orders. You may authorize an agent to make a request on your behalf; we may ask for proof of that authorization. We respond within the time required by applicable law, usually 45 days. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our response; we will explain the outcome of the appeal.
In the last 12 months we have collected the categories of personal information described in Section 1 (identifiers, commercial information, internet activity, approximate geolocation, and inferences drawn from them) for the purposes described in Section 2, and we have disclosed them to the categories of recipients described in Section 3. We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information other than payment details processed by our payment processors. We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration, but our use of advertising cookies may constitute "sharing" under California law; you can opt out via Your Privacy Choices. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.
We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described above. Order records are kept for as long as required by U.S. tax and accounting law (generally 7 years). Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Analytics and advertising data is kept according to the retention periods of the relevant provider. We delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed.
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information, including encryption of data in transit, PCI-compliant payment processing through Shopify Payments, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please email us and we will delete it.
The Site is operated from the United States and intended for U.S. customers. Our service providers, including Shopify, may process information in the United States, Canada, the European Union, and other countries. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those of your country.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when the current version took effect. If we make material changes, we will post a notice on the Site or email you where appropriate.
